DC32 Animal has an air-driven brush bar to dislodge pet hair, and patented Root Cyclone technology means it doesn't lose suction. This has been combined with a core separator, an extra cyclonic stage, to capture even more microscopic dust. And because there are no replacement bags or filters to buy, there are no extra costs.
Dyson engineers developed DC32 Animal for use in larger homes with more dust and dirt. The turbine head removes dirt and pet hair from every floor type - the air-driven brush bar can be turned off for cleaning delicate surfaces. And the mini turbine head cleans confined spaces such as stairs, upholstery, and car interiors.
Cylinders are usually easier to store than uprights. DC32 Animal has Dyson's lightweight adjustable wand - for easy high-reach cleaning. The chassis is shaped to sit on stairs while you clean.

Root Cyclone technology + core separator captures more microscopic dust
DC32 Animal has a 3-stage cyclone system to capture more microscopic dust. First, dust is drawn into a powerful cyclone. Centrifugal forces of 500 G fling larger dirt, debris, fibres and pet hairs into the clear bin.
Smaller particles are then forced into the core separator, an extra cyclonic stage between the outer and inner cyclones. Here the air spins so fast it separates particles as small as 0.5 microns from the airflow. These include allergens like pollen, mould spores and bacteria - so tiny 200 of them could fit on a full stop.
Dust and dirt is then spun from the core separator and into 14 inner cyclones, where the smallest particles are separated out. Here the cyclones generate forces up to 100,000G capturing even more microscopic dust than any other cyclone, with no loss of suction.
